Breaking: Shooting in Dallas Bank

UPDATE II… The shooting took place inside Suite 310 on the third floor of the bank tower. A Smith Financial Group Inc is located there. According to WFAA,  the 911 call came from that office. Dallas police have lifted the lockdown on the 19-story building.

UPDATE… A police spokesman tells MSNBC that two men were shot in the incident. Their conditions are unclear. The shooter is reportedly dead, possibly by his own hand. The spokesman said the shooter was a customer of a financial institution located in the United Texas Bank building and that he knew both of the victims. The spokesman also stated that “this was not a random” act, but the victims, said to be father and son, were targeted.

EARLIER… NBC news in Dallas is reporting several people shot inside a Dallas bank. The shooting occurred just before 11 a.m. CST at the United Texas Bank. The building is on lockdown. There is no information on casualties or the conditions of the victims. Updates will follow if needed. [NBC Dallas-Fort Worth]
