No, it’s not our hair. You’re right though. Something’s different. So perceptive!
Yes, the website. Exactly. It’s new. Okay, we know it might take a little getting used to, but now our external self matches what we always felt like inside. At last, we can actually be ourselves. We can breathe!
Many thanks are in order, most especially to Brian Van, our web developer, of 485i.com. Brian has worked his ass off to pull this together. Go to his website and hire him, if you can. If you’re not already too late. He is really, really good.
Also much beloved and admired for her wonderful contribution to this thing: Lori Nelson, the brilliant artist who has created the series of slyly humorous icons and portraits you see here, which perfectly express our yearning to be taken seriously but not overly so, to appear charming and sophisticated but also nervy and impudent. She can do the same for you, and more, so go to her website and hire her as well.
Also, I have to thank our longtime contributor Drew Grant, who was snapped up by another website with a suspiciously similar name to ours a few weeks before we busted out the new look. Okay, their site was technically launched first, but we’re all friends—or we were until they stole our girl. Now it’s war.
Anyway, have a look around, will you? Tell us we’re beautiful, goddamn it. Also tell us, gently, constructively, what could use some improving. Like if links are dead or photos are missing, send an email to me at aaron [dot] gell [at] gmail [dot] com. (One of the things not yet working: our new email system.)
Also, please, if you happen to be a user of the social media, why not join our Facebook (the page and the group, which are totally different!) and our Twitter? And put us in your RSS reader. Basically get really intimate with us on every crazy platform you can think of, while your friends watch!
Finally, if you’ve suddenly a burning, itching desire to contribute to this website, we might let you. Feel free to email me about that too.

Why in the wide wide world of sports would anyone heed the advice of folks who are so young and inexperienced?
Well, actually we’re not really Heidi Montag. That was supposed to be funny!
