It’s so easy to make fun of Kathie Lee Gifford, but sometimes her unhinged approach to life is kind of awesome, and this video is a great example of that. See, one of Tiger Woods’s alleged thangs on the side, Jamie Jungers, was on the Today Show this morning. And she was just a treat on-air: she was pissed about a news article that pretty much painted her as a ho; she was totally rocking the “gimme-my-heroin back after the money shot” look that was so popular with the late 1970s porn and valium set; and something about her clearly made the usually somewhat Lithiumed-out Meredith Vieira a bit uncomfortable. Also, as perceptive Gawker commenter MyMoustache noted, she looked like she smelled like smoke.

Turns out, as Kathie Lee Gifford will tell us as the typically discomfited Hoda Kotb sits beside her, Ms. Jungers was kind of a white trash diva from hell during show prep this morning, and Kathie Lee didn’t effin’ care if she wasn’t supposed to ‘talk out of school’ or not, she was gonna out the skank.
